The Joseph & Belle Braun Anshe Emet Religious School

We don't just teach Hebrew; we nurture a growing Jewish soul.

The Joseph and Belle Braun Anshe Emet Religious School has been shaping young lives for decades. Our model is not one size fits all; we have options available to accommodate your child’s schedule and learning needs. We remain committed to our vision pillars: KnowledgeFlexibilityDiversity, and Community. Religious School is for all children ages 4 years old (JK)-8th Grade. It is never too late or too early to start your child’s Jewish education.

Our children learn Hebrew, Bible, holidays, and Jewish values, but included in our curriculum are sessions in art, music, dance, drama, and more. Our students experience their Jewishness through all their senses. We invite you to come and see for yourself.

The Joseph & Belle Braun Anshe Emet Religious School offers…

  • The chance to be part of a thriving, progressive–and inclusive–Conservative congregation on Chicago’s bustling north side
  • A welcoming, professional, and experienced faculty
  • A special-needs expert on staff, available to work with students with a range of gifts and challenges
  • The expertise of our esteemed clergy

Anshe Emet is committed to supporting all children in need of accommodations at our religious school. Please reach out to our Grodzin Director of Education & Innovation, Mardi Caminer, with any questions and to learn more about the Religious School:  773-868-5131 / mcaminer@ansheemet.org.

Refer a Friend to Religious School!

“We actively talk to our friends who are not affiliated with a synagogue and rave about your programming and attempt to recruit them. We think a Jewish education is so important and you’ve made our experience all the better. “

—Rachel, mom of Kindergartener & 3rd grader
