YAD Volunteering at Lakeview Pantry: YAD volunteers quarterly at Lakeview Pantry, and their need for volunteers continues to grow every day. We invite you to join us for a Distribution Shift at Lakeview Pantry on Thursday, June 11 from 5:30-8:30pm to support our neighbors in need. In order to keep clients, staff, and volunteers safe, please note: All volunteers are required to bring a cloth or other non-surgical grade mask. If you do not have a mask, the pantry will provide you with one. Lakeview Pantry is taking extra precautions including additional cleaning and sanitizing as well as providing gloves and hand sanitizer to volunteers and staff. In addition, clients, staff, and volunteers are mandated to continue social distancing (6 feet apart) whenever possible. As always, please put your health and safety first, especially if you are at higher risk. For more information about Lakeview Pantry’s Covid-19 safety mesaures, please follow this link.

YAD Membership

We are so grateful for each person that is part of our community and attends YAD events. A couple of years ago, Anshe Emet has launched a membership category specifically designed for YAD, and we hope you will consider giving back to our community and becoming a YAD member of Anshe Emet Synagogue. Through your support, you will enable us to continue to provide Shabbat and holiday community, monthly community nights, sports, learning, social programs, and more. You may choose to become a member for any amount that feels comfortable and, as always, all YAD events will be open to all Jewish young adults. Thank you for being part of our community! For more information on YAD Membership, please contact Amy Karp at
