Join the Anshe Emet community as we remember those who perished in the Holocaust, and ensure that their memories may forever be a blessing.

Following our memorial service we will listen to Ida Paluch-Kersz as she shares her captivating story of survival as a child during the Holocaust. Born in May 1939, in Sosnowiec, Poland, Ida, her mother, her twin brother, and her older sister were put into the Sosnowiec ghetto. Her mother died when she was only three years old while her father was away fighting as a Polish soldier against the Nazis. Ida relates her experience of love, loss and redemption.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Anshe Emet Men’s Club for our congregation, friends, and families.
