The B’nai Mitzvah fee of $1,800 helps cover a portion of the administrative and program costs associated with the process. Typically, this fee is applied to your account after the fourth-grade meeting, with the first $600 serving as a “date-holding fee,” due immediately.
For families joining the program after fourth grade, the fee will be added to your account upon enrollment, and the $600 portion will also be due immediately. The remaining $1,200 can be paid in full or through a payment plan.

Kiddush and Mincha Fees
At Anshe Emet, we value the power of community. Each B’nai Mitzvah family contributes a $1,400 Kiddush fee to help support the communal Kiddush lunch following services.
For Kiddush upgrade options, click here or contact Kim Carter at kcarter@ansheemet.org or 773-868-5119.
For families celebrating a Mincha (afternoon) B’nai Mitzvah service on Shabbat, there is a $500 fee, which replaces the $1,400 Kiddush fee and helps cover the costs of keeping the building open after hours.
Our Commitment Regarding Fees
We are committed to ensuring that financial circumstances are never a barrier to celebrating your Simcha with us. If these fees present a challenge, please reach out to Mimi Weisberg at mweisberg@ansheemet.org or 773-868-5123 to discuss a fee arrangement that works for your family.
