SUMMARY:Yom HaShoah: A Holocaust Remembrance
DESCRIPTION:Join the Anshe Emet community as we remember those who perished
  in the Holocaust\, and ensure that their memories may forever be a blessi
 ng with special guest\, Marlene Steiner McLeod.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMarlene is th
 e daughter of two Holocaust survivors. She will discuss the experiences of
  her parents during the Holocaust and how those experiences shaped the res
 t of their lives and hers. Her father\, Joseph Steiner\, was from Czestoch
 owa\, Poland\, and he survived the war in forced labor camps.&nbsp\; Her m
 other\, Sima Rauch\, was born in Stryj\, Poland\, and she endured years in
  Siberia. Marlene was born in Poland after World War II. She is a retired 
 Special Education teacher and educational consultant to the Chicago Public
  Schools.&nbsp\; She has lectured extensively about the Holocaust in Chica
 go Public Schools.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is hosted in partnership with t
 he Anshe Emet Men’s Club for our congregation\, friends\, and families.\
