Kadima! Capital Campaign

Honoring our Heritage and Moving Toward a Bright Future

The Kadima! Capital Campaign for the Future of Anshe Emet will ensure that our infrastructure will possess qualities of adaptability, security, accessibility, and aesthetics which will not only anticipate but even surpass the evolving demands of our vibrant and engaged membership.

Major infrastructure issues, from underground to overhead, will be addressed: new roofs, new and remodeled bathrooms, new sound systems and new HVAC controls and equipment will be installed, which are essential as part of our responsibility to keep the building comfortable, safe, accessible and up to date.

To do this, the Anshe Emet Board of Trustees approved a $15M renovation of which $2M has been secured from Anshe Emet’s Investment Fund and Rabbi Michael Siegel has raised $11M in our quiet phase of the Campaign.  We are launching a $2 million campaign to fund the reconfiguration and upgrade of critical Synagogue areas and facilities and to create updated spaces that represent the needs, energy and diversity of our members and our mission for today and for many years to come.

We are committed to creating a state-of-the-art facility that is worthy of our members’ precious lifecycle events, high quality concerts, meaningful worship and compelling educational opportunities.

Contributions and Acknowledgments

We are honored to recognize those whose generosity makes this vision possible. Recognition options may include plaques, naming opportunities, and inclusion in campaign publications and events. Participate at the best giving level for you. With the support of EVERY congregant, we can raise the remaining funds to reinforce the safety of our congregants and staff and provide bright spaces for collaboration, education, worship and bold new ideas.

We recognize that while large capital projects require campaigns such as Kadima!, we know that ongoing maintenance of our building infrastructure into the future is important as well, which is why we will be  launching our AES Building Fund in May 2026.

Payments can be made at ansheemet.org/kadimacampaign.
Anshe Emet also accepts Stock and Wire transfers. Gifts exceeding $25,000 can be paid over 3 years.

For more information about how to contribute to the Kadima! Campaign, please contact Hannah Jarvis at hjarvis@ansheemet.org or 773.868.5143.

Every congregant’s meaningful gift is urgently needed to secure our synagogue’s future.  Please make a generous gift to the Kadima! Campaign.
