In our 4-session class with Rabbi Siegel, we will examine the history of the modern State of Israel from four historical moments and their texts. We will see how key events have resonated in the land of Israel reading the words that shaped the Land of Israel. We will examine the 1904 Zionist Congress, the Altalena affair in 1948, the Peel Commission, and the Hamas Charter and the Abraham Accords. This week’s class, March 11th, is VIRTUAL only.
