The Controversial 1972 Olympic Basketball Final.

Most will remember the horrific murder of Israeli athletes that stunned the world and temporarily halted the 1972 Olympic games. However, there was another, less well-known controversy involving the gold-medal basketball game between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, the world’s two superpowers at the time. What happened? Join author, David Sweet, as he recounts corruption from the head of basketball, illegal calls by a referee, and the legacy of the American players who refuse to accept their medals to this day.

Price: This program is free to attend; Coffee, tea, water, and fruit will be offered.
