Virtual Tour of Israel: From Sea to Sea: Hiking Northern Israel With Lots of Food and Drink

When

June 30, 2020
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Make Your Own Hummus class begins with Abi Hartuv at 3:30 pm.

Virtual Tour with Josh Hartuv and Rabbi David Russo at 4 pm.

What normally takes three days of difficult hiking across the country, we will do in an hour! Hiking in the small but diverse landscape of Israel is a true Israeli cultural experience. It is no accident that every rock, tree, and puddle has a name and a story that may go back thousands of years. Our trek will be our backdrop for exploring sites, both ancient and modern, which had a lasting impact on the local areas of the north and the rest of the country. We’ll work up an appetite as we stop at a local hummus and pita place, winery, brewery, and a break to eat the Israeli delicacy of watermelon and feta (don’t knock it ‘till you try it!). Make sure you get everything on the list below to have the tastiest hiking experience!
