There are plenty of choices for all ages, as well as many remote/at home options. There will be no Religious School on April 24th. Our teachers and madrichim will be participating in Professional Development, and all families will be participating in wonderful acts of Tikkun Olam.
Step outside your regularly scheduled programming with other Anshe Emet families to make the world a better place. New this year! Anshe Emet’s Mitzvah Day includes experiences out in the community, at Anshe Emet, and in your own home.
Mitzvah Day is your family’s opportunity to get out into the community and work with your choice of organizations, from The Ark to Share Our Spare. Click here for descriptions of all your choices.
While many of the experiences are designed for families with JK-8th graders, we invite all members of our community to take part in this important work. If you wish to participate, we welcome you to choose from any of the experiences which do not have a space limit.
Team Captains needed! Team captains will build relationships through communication with your group beforehand and taking pictures during Mitzvah Day! Please check “Yes!” on the registration form.
Mitzvah Day is in place of Religious School on April 24. No classes will be held in the building.
Don’t want to wait until April 24 to make the world a better place? Warm up your Mitzvah Muscles on JUF’s Good Deeds Day on April 3! Good Deeds Day registration here.
