Fatima Rasoul has been the Community Engagement Specialist at HIAS Immigration & Citizenship for the past two years. In her role, she connects refugee families with volunteers that are looking to provide community support and develops agency partnerships within the Chicagoland community. She feels passionate about creating an environment where refugees can thrive and feel grounded and connected within their communities. In her free time, she likes to read, travel, and spend time with her two cats.
