Step out with other Anshe Emet families to uncover Jewish Holidays all over this great city of Chicago.

Celebrate Shabbat in the Evolving Planet exhibit at the Field Museum, learn about harvesting, dairy and Shavuot in the Farm Tech exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry, discover themes of love for Tu B’Av at the Art Institute and many more!

New this year – Virtual Opportunities to explore Jewish holidays around Chicago!

The cost for this Family Day is $5 for each participating family member ages 4 and up. Fees helps cover the admission costs for all participants (regardless of the actual admission fee or your membership status at the venue you choose).

If you would like to volunteer to be a docent (in person or virtually) for Chicago as Our Classroom, please sign up here or contact Max Handelman for more information.

We are looking for volunteer docents to lead a group of about 15 parents and kids through a 45-60-minute group experience, in a local museum or virtually via Zoom. For more information and to sign up, visit our website or reach out to Max Handelman.
