Join AES members as we take advantage of nicer weather with an outdoor activity—a social bike ride!
New date: Sunday, July 26 at 9am
There will be two planned routes with a variation on distance. Sign up for either ride, but you must register in advance:
- A 15 mile ride through the city to West Rogers Park with a stop at Lickety Split Ice Cream and a socially distanced picnic (bring your own food) at Indian Boundary Park.
- A 45 mile ride up to the Botanical Gardens in Highland Park. If people wish to only ride one way up to Highland Park (approx. 23 miles), they can choose to take either the Metra or CTA back into the city if they are comfortable in doing so.
Volunteer leaders will be biking with each group.
We will all meet at the Anshe Emet Synagogue parking lot. Start time will be 9am with a staggered start if groups are more than 10, which is why registration is required. Masks will also be required.
