Join us for a fun, family‑friendly community celebration as we mark Yom Ha’Atzmaut together! We’ll kick things off with an Israeli lunch at 12PM, followed by a ceremony led by our rabbis and cantors – including singing, a moment of silence, and Hatikvah. Afterward, enjoy a full hour of activities for all ages: crafts, dancing, face painting, and other hands‑on stations run by our team and community partners. Come celebrate, connect, and enjoy a joyful afternoon with fellow AES families.

Join us at Anshe Emet for a powerful ceremony to mark the transition from Yom HaZikaron to Yom Ha’Atzmaut.
Featuring a powerful recorded conversation between Rabbi Michael Siegel and the creators of the עלומות קרב (Alumotkrav) podcast – Roni Raffeld Bluth. In this intimate video presentation, Rabbi Siegel and Roni will explore the ripples of trauma and the unique resilience of families navigating recovery in the aftermath of October 7th.
The program will continue with music from our Cantors, recitation of the Mourners’ Kaddish, and a moving transition marked by raising the Israeli flag as members of our community recite key passages from Israel’s Declaration of Independence. Light Israeli-style refreshments will follow.
