Rabbi Amy Levin currently serves as the rabbi at Sukat Shalom Congregation in Ramat Yishai in Israel and the founder of Tzibur Strategies: For Thriving Sacred Communities and Their Leaders. She is the co-author of the Teshuva (official response of the conservative movement) that granted Ashkenazim Jews permission to eat beans and other legumes on Passover. Born in New Jersey, she has been a rabbi for over 25 years and serves as a member of the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards for the Conservative Movement.
