This year we are resuming the delivery of Maot Chitim to our local community. Maot Chitim refers to the centuries old custom of gathering wheat to provide food to those in need, and we are happy to be participating in this mitzvah once again this year. We will be delivering food packages for Passover on Sunday, April 10 at 10AM to four buildings nearby Anshe Emet.
Participants must be vaccinated and will be required to wear a mask while inside. In addition, the boxes are usually on the heavier side, so you should be able to lift approximately 15 lbs.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the brief form below. Buildings will be assigned closer to the delivery date. Contact volunteer coordinator Jodi Gruber with questions.
