MLK / Simchat Shabbat Evening Service
(in person or via livestream) We believe that the definition of a Kehillah Kedosha, a Holy Community, centers on being present in all phases of life, including meaningful moments of celebration. Every third Friday of each month we will be celebrating with those in our community who are marking a birthday or anniversary.
This Friday, we will also be joined by special guest speaker, Tony Westbrook, Jr., for a community Shabbat service, followed by a dinner and discussion in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr Day. We will explore Parashat Shemot and the story of Moshe’s awakening to injustice, drawing parallels to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s prophetic voice and vision.
