Chicago Gang Database Discussion

When

January 25, 2022
7:00 pm

The Chicago Gang Database has been the subject of multiple lawsuits, public hearings, and investigations in recent years. Although intended as a tool to document gang affiliation, poor data gathering practices have resulted in widespread inaccuracies that have a disproportionate and lasting impact on Black and Brown Chicagoans.

Join us on January 25 at 7pm on Zoom for a thoughtful conversation about the database facilitated by Rabbi Siegel with Anshe Emet’s head of security Matt Tobias, JCUA community organizer Anna Rubin, and Na’aseh Advocacy Co-chair Michellanne Li.
