Shabbat Youth & Family Services

Shabbat Mornings • 10am – 12pm

We offer these Youth and Family Services each Shabbat.

10AM-10:45AM • Shalom Shabbat
In person with room to spread out!
Families with children 4 and under are invited to join this interactive Shabbat worship experience with Max Handelman every Shabbat morning. Sing, dance, and hear stories as you celebrate Shabbat with your children. On the BZ Field, as long as the weather is nice.

11AM-12PM • Shachar
In person with room to spread out!
Families with kids in K-2nd grade are invited to join us for this service which incorporates tefillah, stories and music. Children are invited to participate in the service in many ways, including reading Torah in English or Hebrew, and parents and children learn together. On the BZ Field, as long as the weather is nice.

11AM-12PM • Shabbat HaNoar
In person with room to spread out!
Families with kids in 3rd-5th grade immerse in this musical service with Anshe Emet clergy and Mr. Todd Kessler. A vibrant service filled with traditional tefillah, music, discussion and learning.  We will meet in the Rose Crown room.

Take Me Out to Tefillah!

We hope you are warmed up and ready for the first pitch!

With the start of the new year, Anshe Emet is initiating this year’s season of tefillah. We invite each K-5th grade family to join us for at least nine tefillah opportunities! If you attend or “sticker in” to at least nine
innings (services) of Tefillah at Anshe Emet Synagogue, you can join us at a Cubs game this spring!
