Pesach 2026 Community Dinner with HIAS

Join us for a kosher-for-Pesach community Shabbat dinner on Friday, April 3.

This dinner will also serve as a learning opportunity focused on refugees in Illinois, in partnership with HIAS. We will hear from guest speaker Fatima Rasoul about HIAS’s important work supporting refugees and displaced people. To learn more about the organization, visit hias.org.

6PM – Shabbat Service
7:15PM – Community Dinner (meat)

Fatima Rasoul has been the Community Engagement Specialist at HIAS Immigration & Citizenship for the past two years. In her role, she connects refugee families with volunteers that are looking to provide community support and develops agency partnerships within the Chicagoland community. She feels passionate about creating an environment where refugees can thrive and feel grounded and connected within their communities. In her free time, she likes to read, travel, and spend time with her two cats.
