Your contribution to Anshe Emet not only supports the many activities and services of our synagogue, but is also a thoughtful way to commemorate special occasions, life cycle events, or to remember a loved one. Contributions to specific programs offset budget allocations to that program.

"It is a tree of life to them who hold fast to it." - Proverbs 3:18
The Sustaining Fund is our congregation's annual significant fundraising campaign which provides support to the creation and continuance of our exceptional programming and meaningful worship. It also allows us to offer membership to all, regardless of ability to pay.
The Tree of Life Circle was envisioned by devoted members and inspired by Rabbi Michael Siegel. These leadership giving levels recognize individuals whose extraordinary generosity of annual financial support enhances our program offerings and ensures that our programs will be available to all who wish to participate.

The clergy designate a specific portion from these funds to worthy Jewish causes in the Anshe Emet community and in the general Jewish community; from making a contribution to the Masorti Movement, to helping a family with financial hardship, to sending a child to camp. The remainder is designated for Synagogue use.
Celebrating a family simcha at Anshe Emet Synagogue means one also gets to celebrate as part of the Anshe Emet family. The Kiddush Luncheon Fund is available for your donations as well as to serve a major role in supporting our regular Kiddush lunches.
For some Bar/Bat Mitzvah families, it has become too burdensome to assume the cost of the full community Kiddush luncheon therefore this fund is intended to help support them as well as the synagogue on any Shabbat when there is no sponsor available. Thus it is our hope that others will consider sponsoring the Kiddush luncheon whenever they have a celebration or remembrance of their own so that we can keep the fund alive and able to support this intended purpose. Anyone may be a Kiddush Luncheon Sponsor and will be listed in the Shabbat Bulletin. Details on being a Kiddush Luncheon Sponsor may be obtained by calling Mimi Weisberg, Director of Development at 773-868-5123.
Due to your generous contributions, Anshe Emet Synagogue can provide scholarships to members to: defray the cost of religious school expenses and to assist with the costs for our successful family retreat program.
Commemorates the memory of a loved one through a donation to Anshe Emet. This fund supports general operating costs of the synagogue.
