Stanley Dreyfuss has been an active member of thenChicagoland Jewish community since moving to the south suburbs in 1979. In bis south suburban congregation, be was a longtime board member and president. Stanley was also a committee member and chairman of the South Suburban Israel Solidarity Day. He was also an honoree for the South Suburban JUF Event. Since joining Anshe Emet 4 years ago, Stanley has been an engaged member of the Men’s Club, participating in various events throughout the year. He is also a weekly participant in the Rose Crown minyan at Ansbe Emet and a member of the Bikur Cbolim committee and weekly participant in Hazak classes.
Stanley retired over 5 years ago after a career in wholesale distribution selling for and managing a plumbing supply company. He served on various committees and boards for the American Supply Association, the umbrella organization for plumbing supply wholesalers. He was also a member of one of the premier buying groups in the plumbing supply industry. In retirement, Stanley volunteers at Northwestern Hospital and at The Selfhelp Home, a Jewish senior community. Stanley has been married for 35 years to bis wife, Anita Shore, and bas two sons, Marc married to Erin, and Adam. Marc and Erin are parents to his granddaughter Martha.
