Families with children ages 4 & under dive in to a sensory-oriented Purim Play designed for the youngest children and their grown-ups. Dance at the King’s party, play “Haman Says,” and use all your senses to help Esther find her bravery in this interactive, participatory, kid-oriented Purim experience!
The Purim Players are a theater troupe created especially for Anshe Emet Synagogue, directed by Sivan Spector. Sivan is a Chicago-based actor, educator, director, clown, and puppeteer. When not onstage or behind the scenes, she can be found as the Education and Community Programs Manger at Chicago Children’s Theatre or cooking up a delicious Shabbat dinner with her friends. The Purim Players include Anshe Emet favorites Mr. Todd and Max Handelman, and new friends you won’t want to miss!
