What is the Peaceful Parent Project?

Orot’s Peaceful Parent Project is a unique, immersive cohort experience for Jewish parents to nourish their lives as parents and as individuals. The 6-week program integrates Jewish text and wisdom with mindfulness-based practices and tools to support parents’ efforts to rear their children in compassionate, spiritually-connected, and mindful Jewish families. Parents will be given the space to explore who they want to be and tools to help them reshape and deepen their relationships with their children in the community with other parents.

Program Components:
Weekly sessions over the course of 6 weeks taught by an Orot educator Chevruta (partner) pairings within the cohort for support between sessions. Practice suggestions for use at home. Recorded meditations to be used by parents and with children.

This series is offered by Orot: Center for New Jewish Learning in partnership with Anshe Emet Synagogue.
Series runs Tuesdays at 8PM from April 20 – June 1 (no class on May 18).
