  for a special performance of “The Jewish Wife” (excerpted from Fear a
 nd Misery in the Third Reich by Bertolt Brecht\, Bentley translation)\, fe
 aturing Tamar Brooks and John Wilson.\n\nIn Nazi Germany\, a Jewish woman 
 prepares to leave her non-Jewish husband in order to save them both from d
 estruction.\n\nAfter the performance\, Cantor Berke and Tani Prell will le
 ad a dialogue with Tamar about the character and her story.\n\nDue to lice
 nsing restrictions\, the performance will only be available at this date a
 nd time.\nJoin Zoom Meeting\nTani Prell is the new Chicago Community Direc
 tor for 18Doors (formerly Interfaith Family).\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nTamar Br
 ooks is a Wisconsin native to who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre i
 n 2013 and joined the Chicago creative scene shortly thereafter as an acto
 r\, playwright\, and poet. Tamar has spent the past 5 years on staff at An
 she Emet\, currently serving as the Clergy Administration Coordinator. She
  dedicates this performance to her honorary grandfather and Holocaust surv
 ivor\, Matus Stolov (z”l).\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nJohn Wilson i
 s an actor\, most recently appearing as Sebastian in the Shakespeare All-S
 tars’ production of The Tempest. John is an avid biker and purveyor of s
 nacks to his two void cats.
