DESCRIPTION:We will prepare for the Yamim Noraim\, the High Holy Days\, by 
 reflecting on Rembrandt’s portrayal of the Akedat Yitzhak\, the binding 
 of Isaac.  \nThe story of the final test of Abraham plays a seminal role 
 in the liturgy for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  Through the examination
  of two works of this master artist over a 20-year period\, we will discus
 s how his portrayal offers not only different insights into the story but 
 offers a mirror into how we experience the story in the face of our own ch
 allenges.  This theme feels especially pertinent in the times in which we
