  than 4\,000 people every year from all facets of the Chicagoland Jewish C
 ommunity. They are seeking donations of non-perishable food\, including:\n

 • Applesauce • Canned fruit • Canned tuna • Vegetable oil • Cann
 ed beans • Vegetarian baked beans •  Peanut butter • Cereal  Pasta
  • Oatmeal • Crackers • Rice • Grape Juice • Canned Tomatoes or 
 sauce • Shelf Stable Dairy or non-dairy milk\n\n* - Remember\, all items
  must be kosher. For canned vegetables\, Del Monte is not an approved kosh
 er option\, but it is for fruit.\n\nI GROW CHICAGO supports 689 households
  across 25 city blocks in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago to help th
 eir neighbors deal with the poverty and violence that they face\, every da
 y and to teach them how to thrive\, not just survive. Their current top ne
