Join Jacob Cytryn as we prepare for the Passover holiday in two different ways: by learning an entire tractate (masechet) of Mishnah so as to perform the traditional siyyum (completion) ritual and allow first born children to break their fast AND by learning about the Rabbinic reconception of the Temple ritual of First Fruit offerings (bikkurim) and recitation of the earliest parts of Jewish history which became the traditional text we use as the core of the Seder to tell our story.
Over four weeks (March 15, 22, 29, and April 5) we’ll learn one chapter of the tractate.
Join for participatory learning and discussion for any or all of the sessions!
Sessions begin immediately following Mincha service at approximately 1:30PM.
