Passionate Yearnings: Love, Loss, and the Search for Completion in the Lives of Rachel, Leah & Jacob
February 13, 20 & 27 | 7:00 - 8:30 PM
A Three-Part Class with Jewish Educator Rebecca Minkus-Lieberman
In this class, we will explore the complex web of relationships between Rachel, Leah, and Jacob. Through a close study of the Torah text and supplementary readings, we will delve into the ways in which Rachel and Leah struggle for love and personal fulfillment through their relationships to one another, as sisters, and to their shared husband, Jacob. Each comes face to face with loss and heartache and seeks a sense of wholeness in relationship. Through a study of these ancient lives, we will examine the essential search to live a full and realized life. Texts will be studied in Hebrew and English. Open to all levels. Other dates include February 20th & 27th.
