Cantor Arianne Brown

Cantor Arianne Brown is the cantor at the dynamic Adas Israel Congregation, where she has a large musical, educational, and pastoral portfolio.  She previously served at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles.  Arianne graduated from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers with a Bachelor of Voice/Music Education, and the Jewish Theological Seminary with a Master of Sacred Music and MA in Jewish Education. She performed with the Folksbiene Yiddish Theater in productions of Di Kishifmakhern, Akeydes Yitzkhok, Di Golkene Kale, and On Second Avenue. Solo appearances include off-Broadway, Carnegie Hall, Disney Hall, Warsaw’s Ida Kaminska Yiddish Theater, Dodger Stadium, and the Krakow Jewish Music Festival. 

Arianne sang the national anthems for President Obama’s address to the Jewish community for Prime Minister Netanyahu.  Movie credits include a role as a jazz singer in Reunited, and appearances in One Hundred Voices: A Journey Home.  She is featured in the Cantors Assembly’s New Voices of the Cantorate video series.  Arianne’s recordings include a Yiddish theater album entitled Eternal Flame¸and her trio Ashira’s Suddenly Spirited - available at www.cantorari.com. She is married to Rabbi Randy Brown and loves nothing more than spending time with her three young sons!
