8th Grade: IKAR Israel Education Program:
IKAR (Israel: Knowledge, Advocacy and Responsibility) is a timely Israel education and advocacy program.  The goals are threefold: To help create a sense of connection to Israel, to give sutdents a sense of confidence in speaking about Israel, and to help students develop tools to stand up for Israel.  The second hour will focus on modern conversational Hebrew.  The Sunday experience will include the CFJE "Ta'am Yisrael: Taste of Israel," an unbelievable (and highly subsidized) one-week experience in Israel for 8th graders. 

9th-12th Grade: Melton Communiteen Mini-School:
From a tested visionary comes a new program.  The curriculum has been designed to stimulate students intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and socially.  Surrounded by inquisitive peers from all Jewish backgrounds, teens can openly share questions and concerns in an atmosphere where every question is welcomed.  The two year curriculum begins this fall and includes the Big Ideas course, the American Jewish Experience course, and other Israel-based learning.

Hebrew/Ivrit:
Hebrew landuage is the ticket to the land, people and traditions of our people. Michal Abbo will offer intensive Hebrew language instruction from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. immediately following the Communiteen program.  Additional sections will be added based on need.
