COUNCIL FOR JEWISH ELDERLY FARWELL HOUSE IN CHICAGO

Volunteers, ages 14+, are needed to help beautify the CJE Farwell House. Brighten-up the Farwell House by making paper flowers, decorating flowerpots and planting flowers. 3-10 volunteers needed, dates and times are flexible. CAFFÉ ARK

Caffé ARK is an exciting new ARK program. The Caffé serves kosher dinners on Wednesday nights to up to 50 ARK clients. Six volunteers, ages 12+, are needed each week from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM to help set tables and prepare, plate and serve dinner to clients at the Caffé. THE CAMPUS KITCHEN SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES

This summer, The Campus Kitchen at Northwestern University in Evanston will serve over 180 underserved children lunch and/or dinner at various day camps and community centers throughout Evanston. For many of these youth, this will be the only meal they will receive all day, increasing the importance of continued meal service to these children. This is where you can help! The Campus Kitchen at NU is looking for summer volunteers to help with our cooking and delivery shifts. The program begins June 14 and continues through September 1. The schedule is as follows:

Sunday - 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Monday - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday - 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Thursday - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
