Young Adult Division
Anshe Emet's Young Adult Division (YAD) is a friendly group that's part of Anshe Emet Synagogue. We're made up of Jewish adults in our 20s and 30s from Lakeview, Lincoln Park, other Chicago neighborhoods and the suburbs.
Our Shabbat services are held each 1st, 3rd and 5th Friday night at 7:15pm. Join us for onegs or potlucks following services. You can find out what is going on by staying in touch with our e-mail updates that go out monthly with reminders a few days before events.
If you're looking for a spiritual outlet, a place to learn, a way to get involved in the Jewish community, or to make some new friends, YAD has something for you.
Many members participate in Anshe Emet programs, especially for festivals, classes and events. We also encourage YAD members to find the High Holiday services that they like most within the Synagogue including a smaller service coordinated with the Rose Crown Minyan.
Other events YAD sponsors and participates in: Latkepalooza, Havdalah and Game Nights, Whirleyball, Shabbat in the city, and many other programs.

In Israel, Mt. Meron is completely alight with bonfires and music, and we’re bringing a bit of that to our corner of Chicago. Food and drinks served. Come prepared to party!
