HaZaK is a daytime program for Mature Adults taught by Elie Berkman and our clergy. If you are interested in being on the mailing list or if you are interested in serving on the planning committee, please contact Andi Gutnik at 773-868-5119. We are looking to have a program that has classes, movies and discussions. HaZaK meets Mondays at 1:00 p.m.
We are very pleased to announce that HaZak, our daytime program for mature adults with active minds and a love for lifelong learning, has a sponsor! Start your Tuesday mornings with minyan and a short class led by Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove on “Essential Jewish Essays”. We will study foundational Jewish philosophical, religious and historical questions as raised in a selection of short essays of the great Jewish minds of the twentieth century.
