Classes held Sundays 11:30
am—12:45pm
In this Sunday morning
experience, we will spend time discussing, debating and unpacking social
justice texts, both ancient and modern, in a Jewish context, in a friendly and
dynamic atmosphere.
It is our hope
to organize a trip to the Panim el Panim seminar/Shabbaton in Washington, DC.
Each seminar brings together diverse groups of 10th-12th grade students from
around the country to explore public policy and social activism through a
Jewish lens, lobby congressmen, and participate in “Street Torah”. Panim el Panim is Hebrew for
"face to face." www.panim.org
