Parent Involvement
Room Parents and Volunteers
Parent involvement is essential to the success of our school. Each class needs at least one room parent. The role of room parent is to assist the teachers and staff in various school and synagogue-wide activities, including reminder phone calls to parents, holiday observances and family potlucks. Each room parent is automatically on the Religious School Committee. Religious School Committee
The Religious School Committee is a working committee and meets bi-monthly on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:45 to discuss and determine Religious School policies. Our Chairperson is Penny Turner. If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact Trudy Isbitz Brodsky at (773) 868-5116 or Leah Conley at (773) 868-5131 to be added to the committee roster.
