Ikar Israel Education Program
IKAR (Israel: Knowledge, Advocacy and Responsibility) is a timely Israel education and advocacy program for our 8th grade students. The goals are threefold: To help create a sense of connection to Israel, to give students a sense of confidence in speaking about Israel, and to help students develop tools to stand up for Israel. The second hour will focus on modern conversational Hebrew. The Sunday experience will include the CFJE “Ta’am Yisrael: Taste of Israel,” an unbelievable (and highly subsidized) one-week experience in Israel for 8th graders.
