Below you will find a list of donations that enrich and sustains the Anshe Emet community. If you are a member of the Anshe Emet Synagogue and would like to make a donation online (in the amount of $18.00 or higher) please click here. General Donations
Synagogue Fund
Supports our Synagogue’s general operating budget.
Sustaining Fund
This is our congregation’s annual campaign to raise money that is critical to the creation, operation and maintenance of day-to-day programming and special events.
Clergy Funds
The clergy designates a specific portion from these funds to worthy Jewish causes in the Anshe Emet community and in the general Jewish community – from making a contribution to the Masorti Movement to helping a family with financial hardship send a child to camp – and designates the rest to Synagogue use.
Programming Donations
ChessedDonations to this fund will help finance meals and other miscellaneous needs for those in the community who are grieving, recovering from an illness or young families who have just had a child.
College Connection
Helps students stay connected with holiday packages and e-mail updates.
Na’aseh (Social Action)
Supports programs and mitzvah opportunities, reflective of our community’s commitment to the ideals of social action and justice.
Prayer Book
For the upkeep and purchase of prayer books for the Synagogue.
Rose Crown Minyan
Supports the peer-led davening group within Anshe Emet Synagogue with its social and educational events.
Yahrzeit/ Remembrance
Commemorates the memory of a loved one through a donation to Anshe Emet.
Youth Programming
Helps fund programming for youth ranging from SK though high school connecting students from the religious school and the day school.
Young Families
Helps fund programs for families with children eight and younger, that includes a wide variety of social activities, Shabbat dinners, family services, Shalom Shabbat, Got Shabbat? and much more.
Education Donations
Religious School
Supports our Teacher Enrichment Fund that provides assistance for professional development.
Adult Education
Supports the adult education program.
The Jack & Sylvia Lazarus Youth Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to students in the religious school.
The Gretel & Rudy Simon Endowment Fund for Holocaust Studies
Supports holocaust education.
Mollie Dubin English for Russians Program
Provides individuals from Lakeview’s Russian Jewish Community free classes to develop and improve their functional English literacy.
Endowment Funds
A gift to our endowment funds will continue the legacy of ensuring a strong Jewish community from generation to generation. Planned or Deferred Giving
Planned or deferred gifts are gifts which you can set up now that will benefit Anshe Emet at some time in the future. Planned giving enables a donor to realize significant financial gains while providing support to the Synagogue.
