Memorial Book & Pulpit Decorations
MEMORIAL BOOK
Each year the members of our congregation have honored their dear ones who have gone to their eternal rest by listing their names in our Memorial Book, distributed at the Yom Kippur Yizkor Services. The Memorial Book will contain the names of the donors, the names of their departed, and the Memorial Prayers for your continued use throughout the year. The Memorial Books are yours to take home.
Memorial services will be held at the synagogue on the following days: Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Eighth Day of Pesach, and Second Day of Shavout. If you would like to have a loved one included in this year’s book, please fill out the form included with this booklet and return it to the synagogue office attention Rachel Fatoorachi. For questions, you may contact Rachel at (773) 868-5122. Due to printing deadlines, this form must be returned no later than September 5, 2008.
The memory of your beloved departed may be honored by a deed of charity. Your generous contribution will help support our religious and educational programs.
PULPIT DECORATION
With your help, the High Holy Days will be blooming with color. Please consider underwriting the cost of the blossoms and greens that adorn our pulpits for the High Holy Days. If you wish to contribute to the purchase of these decorations, please fill out this form and send with your contribution. If you have any questions, please call Rachel Fatoorachi at (773) 868-5122.
