Membership
At Anshe Emet, you have many opportunities to participate in the life of our congregation. Common Misconceptions about Joining a Synagogue…
Misconception #1: I don’t need to join a synagogue yet; my child isn’t ready for religious school or their bar/bat mitzvah yet.
Anshe Emet offers much more than just religious school or bar/bat mitzvah preparation! Come join us for a family Shabbat dinner, dance with the Torah on Simchat Torah, help decorate our sukkah, win prizes at our Purim Carnival, and much, much more!
Misconception #2: Synagogues are only for families; I’m single/don’t have any kids.
Membership at Anshe Emet offers spiritual, cultural, educational, and social links to a large and diverse Jewish community. We offer a wide variety of programming for adults, both singles and couples.
Misconception #3: I can’t afford to join a synagogue.
Everyone can afford Anshe Emet membership. Our policy allows for accommodation from the dues schedule to reflect individual financial capability. No one will be denied membership due to financial circumstances.
We look forward to welcoming you as part of the Anshe Emet Synagogue family!
