The Anshe Emet Synagogue parking lot has a limited number of spaces available on a first come,  first serve basis. Please see below for additional neighborhood parking locations.

Additional Pay Parking Around Anshe Emet
Note: The following list of additional pay parking lots has been put together to assist Anshe Emet congregants and guests in finding parking when the Anshe Emet parking lot is full. This list is not comprehensive and represents the information at the time of the survey. Anshe Emet is not affiliated with these parking lots and assumes no responsibility or liability for anyone parking in these lots. Lastly, all of these places will have varying availability and higher prices on Cubs game days.

Chicago Park District – Waveland Parking Lot: This it the park district lot located east of Lake Shore Drive between Waveland and Irving Park. It can be reached via Irving Park or the Recreation Drive exit from Lake Shore Drive. Parking is $0.50 per hour with coins at the pay machines on Friday between 6pm to 11pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am to 11pm. Other times there is no charge. To get to Anshe Emet, park towards the south end of the lot and walk through the underpass under Lake Shore Drive, walk ½ block north(right) to Waveland Ave, two blocks west(left) to Broadway and one block north(right) to the Anshe Emet parking lot entrance.

LeMoyne School: This is a Chicago Public Schools lot run by System Parking on the north side of Addison between Sheffield and Halsted. Parking is available for $10 on non Cubs game days and $20 on Cubs game days. You can pay via credit card or coins for this lot. To get to Anshe Emet, walk ½ block east to Addison, north(left) 2 blocks to Grace/Broadway intersection and then ¼ block south on Broadway to the Anshe Emet parking lot entrance.

Hawks Parking Lot: This is a privately run parking lot at 3516 North Halsted (just south of Addison on the west side of the street). You can only park at this lot when there is an attendant present during the hours of Mon-Thurs 6pm to 11pm, Fri & Sat 6pm to 2am and Sunday 3pm to 11pm. Rates vary between $8 for one hour to $14 for four hours. To get to Anshe Emet, walk 2 ½ blocks to Grace/Broadway intersection and then ¼ block south on Broadway to the Anshe Emet parking lot entrance.

Disney Magnet School: This is a Chicago Public Schools lot run by a private company located at 4115 N Clarendon. Clarendon is the continuation of Halsted north of Irving Park. Parking is available for $8. Parking is only available after 3pm on school days or on non school days. You must complete a parking envelope and put your bills or coins in the envelope in the parking slot. To get to Anshe Emet, walk 2 ½ block south on Clarendon – it will become Broadway to the Grace/Broadway intersection and then ¼ block south on Broadway to the Anshe Emet parking lot entrance.

The New York: This is a private garage attached to The New York condominium building at 3660 N Lake Shore Drive. You can enter from Lake Shore Drive or Waveland Ave east of Pine Grove (Waveland is one way towards Lake Shore Drive between Broadway and Lake Shore Drive). Parking rates vary between $10 for one hour to $19 for three to twelve hours. To get to Anshe Emet, walk 1 ½ blocks west to Broadway then ¾ block north on Broadway to the Anshe Emet parking lot entrance.

Street Parking: There is some street parking around Anshe Emet (at metered and non-metered spaces) but please be aware of the permit only parking zones and the Cubs Night game permit zones.
