Young Families
Anshe Emet is blessed with a strong, vibrant Young Families Community. Families with children ages 8 and under are full participants in the life of Anshe Emet. Our community joins together at regular times:
Kabbalat Shabbat Services and Dinner
The first Friday night of every month, at 5:45 p.m.
Join us for a dancing, singing, story-filled service for families with children in Kindergarten and younger! Kids in first grade and up are invited to the "older sibling service." Both services begin at 5:45 p.m. and are followed directly by a combined community dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Our next dinner will be Friday, June 7. Registration for the June dinner is not yet open.
Shabbat Services
We also gather for special occasions throughout the year:
• Young Families Services Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mornings
• Young Families Hanukkah party
• Young Families Tu B’Shevat Seder
• Tikkun "Lil" Shavuot
The Anshe Emet Young Families email listserv is a tremendous resource for finding out what is going on at Anshe Emet and in the community, and also for finding a nanny and swapping baby stuff. To join, send an email to AEYF-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
