    It is with deep regret that we inform you of the recent passing of Frances A. Nelson, (nee Given), age 93 passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2013.

    She is survived by her loving son, Dr. William (Leslie) Nelson; her devoted sister, Bebe (Tonney) Hirsh of Baltimore, MD; step grandchildren: Melissa Neff of Missoula, MT and Gregory Neff of Maui, HI; and many nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Nelson; her daughter, Faye Susan; her son, Larry S. Nelson; and her sisters: Sylvia (Herbert) Levin and Zelda Rozanski. Frances was a past president of Hadassah. She was also chairman of the NWI Jewish Federation-Women's Division in 1962. Frances was very involved with many Jewish charities.     Joyce was a member of the Congregation Cnesses Israel, Cnesses Israel Chevra Kadisha, Hadassah, Sisterhood, the American Association of University Women, and a former president of the Brown County Medical Auxiliary. Joyce graduated from the University of Chicago and Northwestern School of Dental Hygiene; and earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Joyce was a Registered Dental Hygienist and an instructor in the Dental Assistants program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Joyce was a life-long learner and active in civic and charitable organizations, but overall a loving and devoted wife and mother.  

    Graveside services were held today in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Marian was a valued employee of Uniforms to You and later Cintas Corporation where she was honored for 35 years of dedicated service. He served in the Army Reserve 1958-1961, Medical Trial attorney for 36 years with his law firm Katz, Leidman, Grossman, Wolfe & Freund of NYC, Councilman of Aberdeen Twp. 1974-1977 & 1984-1991, Taught Holocaust Studies class at Temple Shalom of Aberdeen, Soccer Coach Aberdeen/Matawan Rec, Volunteer Attorney at Sarasota/Manatee Legal Aid, Editor of Amicus Curie Newsletter, and member of Association of Retired Attorneys of Sarasota. He retired to Sarasota, FL in 1997. Richard enjoyed world travel and fine dining with Lilyan, discussing politics, writing letters to Editors, collecting video tapes/dvds/cds, painting historical die cast figurines and spending time with his grandchildren

    It is with deep regret that we inform you of the recent passing of BANK, Irving  (Yitzchak) on the evening of December 13, 2011. Born in Kovno (Kaunas), Lithuania in 1912, the son of Avraham and Frida, he was a graduate of the Real Hebrew Gymnasium in Kovno. Incarcerated in the Kovno ghetto in 1941 during the Nazi occupation and interned in 1944 at the Dachau concentration camp, he was liberated by the US Army in 1945. He lived in Munich, Germany after the Shoah (Holocaust) and WWII where he was an active leader and member of the Maccabi sports organization and worked on behalf of the Jewish Committee of Munich. He emigrated to the US in 1951, settling in Detroit, Michigan. An accountant by profession, he worked in management of the Serta Restokraft Mattress Company until his retirement in 1988 when he settled in Atlanta. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Rose (Shoshana) Atlas Bank, daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Estelle "Shelli" Bank and Michael Rosenzweig of Atlanta, GA; Naomi Bank and Steven Hunter of Chicago, IL and grandchildren, Zachary Rosenzweig, Nathaniel Rosenzweig and Sarah Hunter.
