High Holy Days 2011-5772 Parking Information
Anshe Emet Parking Lot
On the High Holy Days, the limited amount of parking in the Anshe Emet lot is available only to those with offical, state-issued handicapped permits. This space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations cannot be taken.
The elderly and those with special needs are encourage to take cabs or arrange to be driven and/or dropped off. All others are encouraged to take public transportation or park for free at the Addison Parking Structure.
Addison Parking Structure (located at 808 W. Addison next to the police station) and Shuttle Service
(Shuttle buses will be available to take you to and from the Synagogue on a regular basis.)
Directions:
- Northbound on Lake Shore Drive: Exit Belmont and continue West on Halsted. Turn right on Halsted and continue North to Addison and turn left. Make a right turn at the first driveway into the parking structure with an attendant. If you get to Fremont Street, you have gone too far.
- Southbound on Lake Shore Drive: Exit Irving Park and turn left at the stop sign at the end of the exit. Turn right onto Irving Park Road (West). Take Irving Park Road to Broadway and turn left. Take Broadway South to Addison and turn right. Make a right turn at the first driveway into the parking structure with an attendant. If you get to Fremont Street, you have gone too far.

Open Arms United Worship Center Parking Lot (formerly Faith Tabernacle Church)
During the High Holy Days, parking will be available at the Open Arms United Worship Center parking lot located at 3750 North Halsted. This space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no charge for parking in this lot. Reservations cannot be taken. Please note, because of their own religious service, we will only have access to this lot on the following days:
Wednesday, September 28th- Erev Rosh Hashanah
Thursday, September 29th- Rosh Hashanah Day One
Friday, October 7th- Kol Nidre
Saturday, October 8th- Yom Kippur
There will be no parking at the Open Arms United Worship Center parking lot on Friday, September 30th- Rosh Hashanah Day Two.
